2014 Chamber of Commerce ‘Leadership Bitterroot’ Class Graduates
Each year, the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce conducts a class called ‘Leadership Bitterroot,’ where the students (usually business owners and their staff) learn all the connections in an overview of the Bitterroot Valley – from government to media to infrastructure.
This year’s class had their final session on Wednesday, May 28. Chosen as co-presidents were Chris Edwards of Ravalli County Bank and Henry Silverio Jr. from Discover Montana. The session was held at Linda and Don Olson’s Bitterroot Therapeutic Riding operation.
As all Leadership BR classes do, this year’s members will organize the annual Ravalli County Fair Parade. That parade is Wednesday, August 27, beginning at 10 am. Sign-ups for the Fair Parade begin on August 1. The Theme for this year’s parade is Buckles, Boots & Rodeo Chutes.
