’24: Live Another Day’: Kim Raver’s Audrey Raines to Return?

24 Live Another Day Kim Raver Audrey Raines

It’s been a good long while since we’ve heard anything on the front of 2014 ‘24‘ revival ‘Live Another Day,’ but it seems Jack Bauer may have even more familiar company than Chloe O’Brian when the terrorism-countering agent is called out of retirement once more. Multiple-season love interest Audrey Raines (Kim Raver) is nearing a deal to return for the new season, but what state will ’24: Live Another Day’ see her in?

Via TVLine, Raver nears a deal to return for the ’24′ revival series, despite the fact that her character was last seen in a vegetative state stemming from Chinese torture methods, with Jack forbidden to see her again. “Audrey is so not dead,” says returning executive producer Howard Gordon. “She’s not even in a coma. In my opinion, she is at the very worst in a psychiatric facility, but she may also be married to a contractor in Virginia who has a child.”

Elsewhere, ’24: Live Another’ day has been confirmed to take place over 12 episodes, potentially jumping between hours in a story that likely sees Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in an international setting. ‘Live Another Day’ will also have its A-game behind-the-scenes talent with the returning ’24′ team of writer/producers Howard Gordon (‘Homeland‘), Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Kiefer Sutherland.

Well, what say you? Who else from ’24′ history would you like to see return for ’24: Live Another Day’ in 2014?
