First, Max Baucus stepped down to become the U.S. Ambassador to China, then interim Senator John Walsh withdrew his candidacy after a plagiarism scandal, now, the system is in a free-for-all as democrats prepare to nominate a new candidate to run in Walsh's stead on August 16.
