Old roads east of Beaver Creek and toward Horse Creek Pass are being cleared to allow easy entry by firefighters if needed.
Four helicopters are helping the ground crews Thursday. The Smoke Monitoring Station indicates "moderate" air quality. It is available on-line. Click here, and on the site select "real time data," location should be "Montana."
