A Great Set of Mudflaps

In our year-long celebration of 50 years of broadcasting for KLYQ, we take you back to 1977.
On a cold March evening, the members of the Bitterroot’s own Big Sky Mudflaps came into the South 2nd Street studios for a half-hour interview.
It was convenient, since they were doing a regular gig across the street at Haigh’s Bar later. We talked about the band’s name (thanks to Paul Stanton), the type of music they played and lots more.
On our Blasts from the Past page, the interview is at bottom of the page. You’ll hear Maureen Powell, David Horgan and Beth Lo.
Click here to get there. Enjoy!
