The summer reading program at the Bitterroot Public Library is covering the bases this year.

The folks there have included technology classes, teen competitions, Wild Wednesday afternoon gatherings, and other special events.

This Thursday, July 12, the library presents "Starry Night Treasure Hunt" from 7 to 8pm.

It won't be all that dark, but you'll be searching through the library for lullabies, constellations and night lights. There will be online games about nocturnal animals and sleep. And to top off the event, you'll be able to take with you a glow-in-the-dark star jar.

It's a free program, and is great for the whole family. Call 363-1670. It's just one the great Summer Reading Program events. Check at the library front desk for all the activities.
