Competition from 2010 Festival (KLYQ photo)
The inaugural Bitterroot Scottish-Irish Festival in Hamilton last year also had a few of the Highland Games, including the caber toss and tossing the sheaf, of which we have nice little video.
The crowd really enjoyed the efforts, which will be dedoubled this year with more participants and more visitors expected at the Daly Mansion grounds, northeast of Hamilton MT.
The Festival will start with a Ceilidh Friday August 26, and a full day of competition, Pipe and Drum, Dancing, and food and fun Saturday, the 27th, the Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan Sunday, with kids’ games and, of course, all three days, you can take a tour of the Daly Mansion.
