After a physical first quarter, the Hamilton Lady Broncs and the Florence Lady Falcons fought a tight-scoring game Monday night at the Hamilton gym, with the lead changing at least 20 times. Florence topped Hamilton 47-42.

The Lady Broncs took an early in the first quarter, leading 14 to 8 into the second quarter, but at the half Florence trailed by one, 22-21. Florence led at the end of the third quarter 30-29. And lead went back and forth through the rest of the game.

The final score for the non-conference game was the Florence girls 47 over Hamilton 42.

Meanwhile, in Florence, the Hamilton Broncs defeated the Florence Falcons by an overwhelming 68 to 34. That brings the Hamilton High boys' season record to five wins and no losses.

The Hamilton teams will play again Thursday, December 22, with the Lady Broncs in Hamilton and the Broncs in Butte against the Butte Central teams. KLYQ will carry the boys game, starting about 7 p.m. Thursday.
