Area Avalanche Warning
The National Weather Service has issued a backcountry avalanche warning for the mountains of west central Montana. The combination of heavy, wet snow and sustained winds the past 36 hours has heavily loaded leeward slopes and created a “High Avalanche Danger.” You snowmobilers and backcountry skiiers please use caution and do some homework in advance.
