Ash is Coach of the Year

Ash is Head Coach of the MSU Bobcats, who made it into the FCS playoffs this year. The award comes with an award of $50,000 that will be donated to charities of Ash’s choice. Ash was recognized for his football successes, along with the team’s academics, sportsmanship and community service.
Ash’s selection was announced Monday, along with Les Miles of LSU in the Football Bowl Subdivision. LSU lost to Alabama in what was considered the national championship game Monday night.
