If you’re looking for an easy crockpot dinner, then this is the recipe for you. With only a few ingredients, and a little amount of prep, you can have a hot, delicious meal for the whole family. This would be a great dinner for those lazy Saturdays, or you could throw this together before you head to church on Sunday. This is so simple and you could easily add steamed veggies to this and serve it on a plate, or you could wrap this in a tortilla and add a few chopped olives, onions and tomatoes.
I love baking, but don’t always have time to make things from scratch. My kids have dessert or a baked good of some sort almost every day. But with my kids getting older and playing sports and all the other after school activities that they are involved in, I don’t have as much time to bake as I would like. So, when I can find a way to make my life a little easier, I do it. I ran across this recipe on Pinterest the other day and couldn’t wait to try it. It’s easy enough that my boys can make it by themselves too.
The long and short of it is yes. Cats are the worst kind of killers – serial killers. They kill over and over and usually with the same M.O. According to a report put together by scientists from the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and the Fish and Wildlife Service, it was estimated that cats in the United States (both domestic and feral) kill 2.4 billion birds and 12.3 billion mammals a year.
This soup is called potato pig, because I use either ham or bacon when I make this soup. All the boys in my family love both, but I definitely prefer ham. There is nothing quite like hot potato soup on a cold Montana day. It’s creamy and hearty. This is a super simple recipe. If you wanted to make it even simpler, you could always prep the potatoes and onions the night before then all you have to do is throw everything in the crockpot in the morning before work. This would save you at least 20 minutes in the morning. I don’t have a lot of spare time in the mornings, so this makes it way more convenient.
After reading through this recipe, you may wonder why it is called Apple Betty Barrie, instead of an Apple Brown Betty. This is because my grandma’s name is Betty Barrie, and I thought it would be awesome to name a delicious dessert after her, so here it is. Sweet and tart, just like my grandma. This is one of my favorite crockpot desserts. It is super simple and super delicious. I hope you love it as much as I love my grandma.
Hockey is known for being a rough sport. It is the definition of full contact. I don’t think I’ve ever met a hockey player who had all his teeth. Hockey players are notorious for getting in fights and getting injured. So, I’ve dug up a list of professional hockey players, who sustained injuries off the ice, instead of on.
I have never been a big wing fan. They are too messy for me. However, my boys, including my husband, absolutely love them. So, because I love my family, I make wings every couple weeks. I must admit that this recipe will only feed about two people, so I usually have to double or triple it to feed all six of us. This is by far my boys’ favorite dinner. I usually like to serve these wings with steamed veggies and some form of potato, like mashed or baked.
I have a confession to make. I detested fishing as a child. I spent more time untangling my line, than I did with it in the water. I hated baiting my hook, unless I got to use colored marshmallows. I remember my brothers spending hours digging up night crawlers to use for bait. I would scream if I had to string one of those slimy buggers on my hook. Just thinking about it makes me a little nauseous. However, since meeting my husband, I have learned to love fishing. You see, my husband was a fly fishing guide for a local outfitter and he taught me to fly fish.
