Autumn at Hieronymus Park in Hamilton
The colors are rapidly changing and the leaves are dropping already.
This is a perfect weekend to get out and take in the world that is a Montana Autumn throughout the Bitterroot Valley. Since the day I took this photo, the golds have increased their presence at Hieronymus Park in Hamilton. By the way, the park was named for the folks who donated the land to the city – the George Hieronymus family.
You’ll see other people with their dogs, walking the trail that leads into the park from the entrance near the Bitterroot River Inn and the Hamilton Dairy Queen.
At the pond, there are usually ducks and geese floating in the water. Beavers have frequented the area, too. Enjoy.
