Saturday is a full day of the Bitterroot Stockgrowers' annual Ag Expo in Hamilton.

The First Interstate Event Center at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds is full of great displays of farm and ranch equipment and the folks who know their business.

You'll find everything from squeeze chutes to motorcycles to construction companies. The kids will love the water table display at the back of the hall, and the concessions are tasty.

Four free seminars are planned in a separate room dealing with weeds, herd management and more.

With all the equipment in the room, it's amazing to see the quick transformation from a vendors' expo to a banquet hall. Brian Rouse said they can do it in less than an hour, after the expo wraps up Saturday afternoon.

At 5 p.m. the cocktail hour starts for the annual banquet, auction and music. By the way, that party is sold out.

And congratulations to the Trexlers, who are being honored at the banquet Saturday evening.
