An armed man stole 10 cartons of cigarettes from the Stevensville Super One Foods store early Sunday morning.

Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman said officers are looking for a white adult male with black short sleeve t-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.

Hoffman said the man was in the area where tobacco products are kept when a store employee approached him.

The man displayed a firearm and the employee backed away, while the man left the store on foot with 10 cartons of Marlboro cigarettes in a store basket.

Anyone with information about the crime should call the Ravalli County Sheriff’s office at 363-3033 or 375-4060.
