The next meeting of the Beekeepers of the Bitterroot will be Saturday March 8 in Stevensville.

The group will meet for two hours, starting at 9 a.m. at the North Valley Public Library, 208 Main Street in Stevensville.

Springtime is coming and the bee group will talk about getting ready for spring, with tips on what to look for in the hive, what can go wrong, and advice about medication and treatments of bees. Hive owners are also warned about snowdrifts causing moisture to get into the hive. Keep those hive entrances clear.

Also, annual membership dues of $25 are due this weekend.

The club has a new website, beekeepers of the bitterroot.org.
