Bitterroot College Creates New Board
The Bitterroot College program of The University of Montana has made impressive gains in student population since its inception.
Director Victoria Clark said, “The program has transitioned from needing a specially designated group to plan and guide the program through its initial formation to a group focused on broad and long range issues such as programming direction and development, funding sources, campus leadership and student support expansion.”
The new 12-member council replaces the steering committee and will be called the Advisory Council. Its first meeting will be Wednesday, February 22, at 3pm at the Human Resource Council building at 316 North 3rd in Hamilton.
Clark said the council is a public board and the public is welcome to observe and participate in the meetings.
