Hamilton's Bitterroot College UM will unveil a new logo and new name Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Director Victoria Clark is excited about the new logo and the growth of the campus in Hamilton. The college operates as part of the University of Montana in Missoula. At the Tuesday event, UM President Royce Engstrom will make remarks, along with Montana Deputy Commissioner of 2-Year Education Jon Cech, BC Advisory Council Chair Lynn Stocking and BC Advisory Vice Chair Dixie Stark.

A "First 50" plaque will be shown - recognizing the first 50 people and organizations that contributed gifts of $1,000 or more to the college.

A "Meet Your College" Open House will follow, with tours of the facility and visits with staff, students and faculty. The two-hour event will wrap up at 6 p.m.

The college is located at 274 Old Corvallis Road on the northeast edge of Hamilton.
