The Bitterroot College in Hamilton has expanded their class offerings again with "Explorations in Astronomy" on Wednesday evenings From February 5 to March 5.

The class, taught by Thomas Engelmann, Ph.D. Physics, will offer a basic introduction to astronomy, including the structure and evolution of the solar system and our nearby planets. The course will also cover stars, nebula and cosmology including black holes and quasars.

There will be observation sessions with the Bitterroot College telescope, when weather conditions permit.
