For two days, the treasures from deep inside the mountains will be at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds First Interstate Event Center.

The Bitterroot Gem and Mineral Society presents "Treasures from the Universe" at the convention center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The title of the show indicates the wide variety of displays this year, including rocks, gems and minerals from the Earth and some space traveling meteorites, along with a fossil display from the Two Medicine Dinosaur Center in Bynum, MT.

There will rock identification displays, face painting for the kids, a silent auction, a florescent mineral display and more.

Admission is $3 per person or $10 for family of four or more.

Both days from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., there will be a pancake and sausage breakfast for $5 per person. Those under 5 are free.
