Crews were working up until the last minute as Habitat for Humanity held the dedication of their latest project in Stevensville.

Belia Velasco-Coombes and her kids showed off the new home next to the Stevensville Senior Center. The home is the most energy-efficient constructed by the Bitterroot group - with solar panels and super-insulated foot-thick outer walls. It is designed to be a Net-Zero home, producing as much electricity as it uses.

The Saturday open house included food and beverages at the Senior Center. Organizers say they have more properties to develop in Stevensville, but are also very interested in any property in the Hamilton-Corvallis area.
