The sweet jazz music will filter into the evening from the Hamilton bandshell Thursday with the Bitterroot Jazz Band.

The free July 31 concert features experienced musicians who will bring with them the great American standards of jazz music in the 8 p.m. concert.

John Wilson, Jack Barnings, Don Maus and Dick Skultin are the core artists of the band and other local musicians are known to show up for a song or two.

Listen to some of their music on YouTube.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket (and some mosuito repellant) and find a comfortable place on the grass Thursday evening.
