Two major parties are planned in Hamilton for New Years' Eve Tuesday.

The Daly Mansion is turning back the clock - which they do well - and celebrating the Roarin' 20s with their New Year's Eve Bash and Poker Party from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

The winter fundraiser for the Mansion and the Margaret Daly Memorial Arboretum will include dance music, food, drinks, poker and other games of chance, a jail, and a costume contest. At midnight, they have a fireworks display ready to go.

The cost is $35 per person or $50 per couple. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling the mansion at (406) 363-6004 extension 2#.

Meanwhile, just down the road a bit, the Ravalli County Fairgrounds has a New Year's party of their own, featuring the music of the Joan Zen 5-piece Funky Soul and Reggae Band.

The community event at the Fairgrounds Event Center will have $10 admission, with reserved tables told in advance for $150 each. Snacks from Sleeping Child Farms and beverages from a no host bar will be available for purchase during the evening, which starts at 8 p.m.
