The six performances for the 2012-2013 series of the Bitterroot Performing Arts Council again includes a wide range of talent - from guitars to puppets.

The performing list was released Friday night at an open house at the BPAC Box Office in Hamilton.

October 6th is the first performance will latin jazz band stylings of Poncho Sanchez.

November 1oth will bring the musical sensation Vienna Teng, a dazzling singer, pianist and songwriter.

Mark O'Connor and Friends will share their Appalachian Christmas on December 21.

We'll stay with the stringed instruments in February, when on the 9th, the International Guitar Night will make a stop in li'l ole Hamilton. It's possible that musicians who've been here before will be making a return engagement that night.

An Irish-flavored group will be gracing the stage in March. The band Lunasa comes to the Performing Arts Center at Hamilton High School March 23.

Then, the parents are being asked to leave the kids at home for an adult-themed "Muppet"-type show from Henson Alternatives. It's called Stuffed and Unstrung, combining the Miskreant Puppets, their human masters and a healthy dose of improv comedy.  That will be the last show of the series April 6th.
