Black Lane Bridge to be Replaced – Detour Starts February 25

Actually, it’s a bridge to replace – on Black Lane, next to the intersection with Old Corvallis Road. The detour around the construction site will start Monday, February 25, and complete closure of the road will start the next Monday, March 4.
Crews expect the 600 foot closure to last until the middle of April, as the old birdge (see photo) is removed, and a new, up-to-code bridge will be installed.
The Road Department is working with Tricon to replace the bridge. As you can tell from the photo, the bridge has quite a bit of age on it.
