The final day to file for political office in this year's elections was Monday, March 12. The Ravalli County June primary ballots are fairly quiet, but the races for U.S. House and Senate are crowded.

  • U.S. Senate: - Democrat incumbent Jon Tester, Republicans Troy Downing, Russ Fagg, Albert Olszewski, Matt Rosendale, Green Party Steve Kelly, Timothy Adams, Libertarian Rick Breckenridge.
  • U.S. House: - Republican incumbent Greg Gianforte, Democrats John Heenan, Grant Kier, John Meyer, Linda Moss, Jared Pettinato, Kathleen Williams, Libertarian Elinor Swanson, Green Party Doug Campbell.
  • Ravalli County has primary contests only for State Legislature (from the Secretary of State):

  • Senate District 43 - Republican - incumbent Pat Connell, Jason Ellsworth, Scott Roy McLean
  • House District 85 - Democratic - Laura Jackson, Mary Toews.
