Ravalli County – NO Open Burning Saturday April 27
No open burning is being allowed Saturday, April 27. The weather in the Bitterroot Valley will be hot and windy Saturday - with gusts expected near 40 miles per hour.
Due to the hot temperatures in the 70s, combined with that wind, Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman and Ravalli County Fire Warden Brad Mohn are asking residents to not do any open burning Saturday, and to be cautious even on Sunday

Saturday, April 27, the annual Emma's House Bike Parade will start at 10 a.m. in Hamilton at the advocacy center address, 800 North 2nd Street.

On March 4, 2012, while he was driving drunk and under the influence of drugs, Justin Barber crashed his vehicle with three young men inside down a steep embankment off Hillview Way, resulting in the death of two of his best friends and severely injuring a third. Barber was sentenced Thursday morning in Missoula District Court.

The Washington Elementary School will have a full-scale emergency drill Friday, April 26, starting about 1 p.m.
In a Hamilton School District 3 news release, officials said the drill will test the response of Hamilton area police, fire department, Marcus Daly Hospital, Montana Highway Patrol, Disaster Emergency Services and other organizations that respond to emergencies
