Chocolate Covered Smores on a Stick Recipe

Nothing screams summer like smores. No matter what age people are, they love smores. My boys would eat them all night, every night in the summer if I would let them, but I try and reserve them for special occasions like camping trips and bon fires.

This smores recipe takes the original and makes it a little fancier. It would be great for back yard barbecues and kids birthday parties.

They might even be a bit cleaner than original smores too. The stick makes it so you don’t have to hold the cracker with your hands and get that gooey marshmallow all over them. The layer of chocolate on the outside also helps to keep the marshmallow at bay.

Chocolate Covered Smores on a Stick

1 box graham crackers

1 bag large marshmallows

1 bag chocolate chips

1 bag sucker sticks

1 box semi-sweet baking chocolate squares

Sprinkles

Break graham crackers in half and lay on a baking sheet. Place one large marshmallow on half of the crackers and nine chocolate chips on the other half of the crackers. Place the baking sheet in a 250 degree oven. Keep an eye on it, as soon as the marshmallows start to swell, pull the pan out.

Place a sucker stick in each marshmallow. Put the chocolate covered square on top of the marshmallow square. Set them aside to cool down.

Place a few semi-sweet baking squares into a bowl and heat in the microwave for 45 seconds at a time until the squares are melted, being sure to stir in between each time in the microwave. Once the chocolate is melted, dip the smores on a stick into it and then top with the sprinkles. Set on wax paper to dry.
