So, I have to admit, that I have never bought a tree from a tree lot. I’ve lived in Missoula almost my entire life and growing up, Christmas tree hunting was always something my siblings and I looked forward to. All six of us, and a dog or two, would load up into the family truckster and head up into the woods to find the perfect Christmas tree. Granted our perfect Christmas trees often looked a little more Charlie Brown than Time Square.
