The Corvallis Lady Blue Devils placed in fourth place in Montana, in their first appearance in school history at the State Girls Class Basketball tournament.

Butte Central won the Consolation contest 60 to 41 in the Butte Civic Center.

The Corvallis girls were second seed out of the Western A Divisional and beat Hamilton and Havre on their way to the Consolation game Saturday evening, March 4.
The host team, Butte Central, took an early lead of eight points in the first quarter and kept it through the game, leading 35 to 19 at the Half and 52 to 29 at the end of the third quarter. The final score was Butte Central 60 Corvallis 41.

It was a great year for the Corvallis Lady Blue Devils!
