The hay bales were scattered throughout the lawn of the Ravalli County Museum as the audience sat back on the straw or in their lawn chairs to hear and watch "An Afternoon of Cowboy Music and Poetry."

The annual event featured Doug Hogan and Charla Bauman, along with lots of cowboy poetry and western music for a beautiful late summer day.

The museum staff is preparing for some huge autumn activities, which includes McIntosh Apple Day and Liquid Apple Night October 1st and the second annual Zombie Apocalypse October 15, which has the slogan "History ... never dies!"
