Creamy Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing Recipe
I’m one of those people who loves stuffing. I’ve never understood why it is only a main side dish during the holidays. If I had my way, we would eat it once a week in my house. Sadly, however, my kids don’t quite feel the same way about stuffing as I do. We eat it more than just during the holidays, but not as much as I’d like to. So, when I found a crockpot recipe that called for stuffing, I was all too eager to try it. Let me tell you that it does not disappoint.
I am going to try to sneak this recipe into my family’s regular crockpot rotation during the winter months. I’m hoping that in doing so, my kids will learn to love stuffing.
Creamy Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing
4 chicken breasts
1 box of Stove Top Stuffing Mix
1/2 cup of sour cream
1 can of anything soup
1/4 cup water
Mix together the sour cream, soup and water in a bowl until combined then set aside.
Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot. Pour the stuffing mix over the chicken. Spread the sour cream mixture over the stuffing, and then place the lid on the crockpot. Cook on low for 5-6 hours.
