Daines to be Sworn In – Other Montana Appointments Announced
Appointments and nominations for a number of government offices were announced this week.

The U.S. Senate has confirmed Montana’s Keith Kelly as the Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Veterans’ Employment and Training. Kill has been Commissioner of the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. He served with the 101st Airborne and has the a Bronze Star and Combat Infantryman’s Badge. He was nominated by Senator Jon Tester.
Thursday, January 3rd, Steve Daines of Bozeman will be sworn in as Montana’s Congressman in the House of Representatives. He will be part of the “en masse” oath on the floor of the House of Representatives at noon. The individual ceremony will be conducted by House Speaker John Boehner at 3 p.m.
Elected in November, Daines has learned that he will be serving on the House Committees of Natural Resources, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Homeland Security.
