Hundreds of people came to the annual Daly Days celebration in Hamilton. Even more attended the Bitterroot Brewfest July 29.

The Daly Days events included the Kiwanis Breakfast, the Jerry Wessels Daly Days Car Show (with hundreds of dollars in cash prizes) and lots of sidewalk sales.

The big event of the day was the annual Daly Days Wiener Dog Race. And the winner of the Wiener Dog race was a wiener dog named "Wiener"... true story. Cali was the four-peat winner of the annual Hot Tamale chihuahua competition.

A new competition for adults this year was the "Adult Musical Chairs," held right after the dog races. The winner received a new recliner from Bitterroot Furniture.

The Chamber of Commerce sponsored Bitterroot Brewfest started later in the afternoon, Shoulder-to-shoulder crowds sampled the brews and ciders and enjoyed the music on a hot day in the Bitterroot.
