The lessons of the past are soon forgotten. But not at the Daly Mansion northeast of Hamilton.

The annual Spring Lecture Series starts Saturday, March 23, with tales of the Vigilantes, Freemasons and Gold Rush Justice in the Montana Territory. Patrick Danahy will come to Hamilton, courtesy of the Montana Humanities Speakers Bureau, for a history presentation at 10 a.m.

The lecture will be in the Trophy Room of the Daly Mansion and is free to the public. However, pre-registration is appreciated at (406) 363-6004.
