Darrell Scott Returns for Hamilton Concert April 29
An ASCAP songwriter of the year, Darrell Scott, will be in concert at the Hamilton Performing Arts Center April 29.
Scott’s Saturday evening performance wraps up this season’s Bitterroot Performing Arts Series.
The singer, who lives near Nashville, has been to Hamilton twice before and is looking forward to the concert. Scott, in an interview with KLYQ Radio, said that he interacts with the audience and his “set list” often changes during each performance. Though he’s known for his guitar playing, he’ll play other instruments such as the piano.
Darrell Scott will be alone on stage, but his music will fill the space, drawing generally from a “roots” category. His songs have brought a number of singers success – Brad Paisley, the Dixie Chicks and even Keb Mo. His next tour will be with the Zac Brown Band, who have also recorded his songs. In past years, he’s been on tour with Robert Plant’s Band of Joy.
Tickets are available at the Bitterroot Performing Arts website or drop by the Box Office at 127 West Main in Hamilton or call (406) 363-7946.
