This deer still has spots, which helps it stay hidden in the tall grass in the Bitterroot River bottoms.

However, when it's wandering around with the rest of its family in the Hamilton residential areas, the spots don't help.

And, when a car pulls up on the same street, it's the official "deer in the headlights" look. The deer have been regularly visiting portions of Hamilton (during hunting season especially), so if you're driving at night, be careful as you round the corners.
