A 29-year-old Hamilton woman was arrested following a Wednesday morning auto accident on the north end of Hamilton on US 93.

Hamilton Police Chief Ryan Oster said that Amanda L. Montoya was southbound on the four-lane highway at 9:15 a.m. and rear-ended a Jeep. Her car continued across the northbound lanes and hit the Splash Car Wash sign post.

She had minor injuries when the sign poked through the windshield. Oster said that a child in the vehicle was not properly restrained, but was not injured. The driver of the Jeep was uninjured. He said that Montoya was charged with felony criminal endangerment and driving with a suspended driver's license. She is currently in jail and investigation is continuing.
