Easy Blended Coffee Recipe
This time of year I love to drink blended coffees. I would drink one every day if they weren’t so darn expensive and so full of calories. I always try to order mine with skim milk, which cuts down on the calories a little, but I know that doesn’t make it calorie free.
I was ecstatic to run across this lower calorie version of my favorite blended drink that I could make at home. Not only does this save me money, but it also saves me calories too. So now I can enjoy my favorite cool summer coffee drinks more often. Oh, and it’s also really easy to make too.
Easy Blended Coffee
2 tablespoons instant coffee crystals
2 tablespoons fat free powdered coffee creamer (your favorite flavor)
1/2 skim, coconut, almond or soy milk
8-10 ice cubes
Throw all your ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If this just isn’t sweet enough for you, you can also add a bit of your favorite low calorie sweetener and blend it a little longer. Pour the mix into your favorite cup, add a straw and enjoy!
