Easy Italian Chicken and Rice Recipe
If you’re looking for an easy crockpot dinner, then this is the recipe for you. With only a few ingredients, and a little amount of prep, you can have a hot, delicious meal for the whole family. This would be a great dinner for those lazy Saturdays, or you could throw this together before you head to church on Sunday. This is so simple and you could easily add steamed veggies to this and serve it on a plate, or you could wrap this in a tortilla and add a few chopped olives, onions and tomatoes.
Easy Italian Chicken and Rice
1 package soft cream cheese
1 packet cream of chicken soup
1 packet of Italian seasoning
2-4 chicken breasts
4-8 cups cooked rice
Put the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup and Italian seasoning into the crockpot on low for about 30 minutes, or until they are all melted together and stir smoothly. Add the chicken and cover with the cream cheese mix. Turn the crockpot up to high and leave it to cook for four to six hours. Cut or shred your chicken.
Cook your rice and then serve your chicken and cream cheese mix over your rice.
