Environmental Protection Administration regional administrator Jim Martin was in Missoula Wednesday along with County officials to announce $679,000 in Brownfields grant funding for the environmental clean-up of several properties, including the removal of lead paint, asbestos, and other contaminants at the County Courthouse.

The removal of these contaminants will help to speed the planned multi-million dollar renovation of the Courthouse, including a new Emergency Operations Center, larger Sheriff’s Office and expanded courtrooms.
