Part of the fun Friday, June 10, during the late business opening "Hamilton Tonight" was the corralled bull at the corner of 2nd and Main.

The folks from Darby's rodeo grounds brought "Darbacious" to town to promote the increasingly popular rodeo events in the south valley.

The very gentle bull allowed the public to get close, as long as it was on one side of the fence and the people were on the other side.

Other groups promoting summertime activities in the Bitterroot were highlighted in the Second Friday event. Next month, a free concert is planned downtown July 8 as "Hamilton Tonight" continues!

The portable corral was in front of Mikesells Fine Jewelry. (Daniels photo, Townsquare Media)
