The silent bidding on the Ravalli county Museum's Gallery of Trees will end Friday, November 22.

The trees have been decorated by artists, organizations and businesses in the Bitterroot Valley and the bids have been going on for a week. The highest bid on each tree will win it. At that point, the winner can keep the tree or donate it to a non-profit organization, according to Museum Director Tamar Stanley.

Sponsors and decorators include:

  • Donna's Antiques, Rainbow Bar, The Brooks Cristmas and Gift Shop, Cardinal Properties, Grooming by Denise, Dog Face dog treats, Acquired Taste, Bitterroot RC&D, Lakeland Feed and Supply, Cornerstone Realty, Pigman Builders, Trapper Creek Job Corps.

The museum has a new, evolving Natural History exhibit in the old District Courtroom, too.
