Frankly, My Dear, I Don’t Give A “Much Ado”
You’ve time-traveled to the Civil War. You turn the corner and all of a sudden, there’s a Shakespearean play being performed. What the heck…? Oh, it must be that traveling troupe from Montana State University!
Shakespeare’s comedy “Much Ado About Nothing”will be performed Wednesday August 3, starting at 6pm under the trees at the Daly Mansion grounds, Hamilton. The acclaimed MSU Shakespeare in the Parks program is a free performance and the actors will be taking to story into a Civil War setting in a Gone with the Wind flair.
The performance is supported locally by the Rapp Family Foundation, Sweet Pea Sewer and Septic, Daly Mansion Preservation Trust, First Interstate Bank, Bitter Root Disposal and Town House Inn of Hamilton. Statewide, the sponsors include Montana Arts Council, Montana Cultural Trust, MSU College of Arts and Architecture and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Come early, bring your picnic and be ready to laugh … a lot!
