Five Montana World War II veterans will be presented medals from the country of France Saturday in Hamilton.

Deputy Consul General of France Corinne Pereira and Honorary consul of France in Montana Laurence Markarian will give medals to the veterans at the all-war veterans monument, next to Heironymus Park Saturday at 5 p.m.

In a press release, Markarian said the ceremony will last about a half hour to honor the veterans' efforts in the liberation of France.

Honored will be Bud Olson of Choteau, Edwin Ward of Billings, Willard LeCounte of Billings, Paul Winhofer of Glendive and Roy Cattrell of Bozeman. The public is invited to the ceremony.
