Ravalli County commissioner J.R. Iman kisses the piglet in the Annual Kiss the Pig contest during Daly Days in downtown Hamilton. The crowd was hoping to get a photo or two, and J.R. obliged by kissing the pig two or three more times, letting the shutters fly.
Iman earned more money than the other four commissioners to win the contest and the Soroptimists benefited by gathering up about $800 to help their community programs.
There's no word on whether PETA considers this "cruel and unusual" punishment to the animal. We're thinking that the pig was just really confused by the all the excitement.
