Every day, the Bitterroot Valley's wintering Canada geese find another field on which to settle for some browsing and conversation.

This week, they found a nice field on the east edge of Hamilton - The Vester Wilson Memorial baseball field.

A flock of the big birds were making themselves at home - bringing to mind quite a few cartoon captions ...

... Maybe something about an infield fly.

They were not bothered by any other feathered teams, such as the Orioles ...

I didn't see any members of the Cardinals or Blue Jays, either. Of course, we're too far north and it's too early for spring training.
