The final exhibits will be brought into the Ravalli County Fairgrounds today, in preparation for Wednesday's opening of the yearly exhibition.

From 12 noon to 7 p.m. today, those with floral entries will bring their plants to a new exhibit hall this year - the Community Building behind the grandstands (use the north entrance).

At the same time, those with horticulture exhibits will be gathering at the south entrance of the Agriculture building.

By 8 p.m., all livestock must be in their respective barns.

And, the carnival area is bustling, as rides, games and concessions are assembled for a 2 p.m. opening on Wednesday. The Carnival will open at 1 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Of course, the official start of the fair is the grand parade on Hamilton's Main Street. It starts at 10 a.m. If you haven't entered the parade yet, you still have time. The entries are being processed at the Bitterroot Chamber of Commerce office on East Main in Hamilton (next to the Safeway parking lot).

KLYQ will again be sponsoring the Entertainment Tent in the midst of the commercial booths behind the north grandstands. Featured this year from a national tour is the Amazing Arthur, Professional Showoff. He has shows at 12 noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Between his shows will some fine local talent, including the Country Step Cloggers and the Bitterroot Community Band.

We'll see ya at the fair!
