The millions of acres that comprise what is called "The Crown of the Continent" will be featured in a presentation Wednesday in Hamilton.

Um Geography professor and accomplished photographer Rick Graetz will give a lecture and photo program at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The land area of the "Crown" stretches from Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park in the north to the Swan Valley at the south and includes Flathead Lake and the Rocky Mountain Front.

Graetz will talk about the history of the area and will showcase some of the landscape features that have made the Montana Magazine (which he founded) so popular.

The presentation is sponsored by the Bitterroot College and tickets are $5, with seniors and students price at $3. Tickets are available at the door, or at the Bitterroot College (406) 375-0100.
