It's quarter-final time for the Hamilton Broncs and the Stevensville Yellowjackets. Both teams won their initial Class A high school playoff games last week - Hamilton defeating Libby and Stevensville over Whitefish.
Stevensville has a "deja vu" game this Saturday. Just like last year, their quarter final game will be against powerhouse Billings Central. The Yellowjackets would be happy with a little revenge for last year's score - where Billings Central outscored them 53-15. The game will be in Billings.
Meanwhile, Hamilton is traveling to Havre for a Saturday afternoon contest. the Broncs handled Libby last Saturday and have been a pleasant surprise for first year coach Travis Blome.
The Hamilton game will be broadcast on KLYQ at 1240 on the AM radio dial. Sorry, we're not streaming that game on the net.
Should Stevensville win their game, they will advance to semi-final action against the winner of the Polson- Miles City matchup. Miles City is the defending Class A Champion.
With a victory in Havre, Hamilton would face the winner of the Dillon-Laurel Friday night game.
