The Hamilton Broncs scored early and often in their opening season Class A football game in Whitefish.

The Broncs scored four times in the first quarter, leading the Bulldogs 27 to 0 at the beginning of the second quarter.

The Bulldogs made a field goal in the second quarter, but Hamilton kept scoring touchdowns, leading 40 to 3 at the half.

With the 40 point score, the clock kept running for the rest of the game, ending the game at about 9 p.m. Hamilton took its first string out of the game, giving some of the other players a chance to play.

The Bulldogs scored one touchdown in the final quarter and the score was 47-10 at the end end of the non-conference game.

Hamilton hosts Columbia Falls at Haynes Field next Friday.
